New Direction New Design 09

Where to begin? First the obvious, the website has been redesigned and new artwork has been added. A new logo has been designed and a new direction begins. I am moving away from the graphic design portion of my work to concentrate on my illustrations and paintings. I have also begun a new ministry titled "Altar Art" which is a performance art session. It is a christian centered teaching experience created to invoke the senses and grasp the attention of the youth. So far I have done three Altar Arts performances all of which were received with welcoming hearts. News on the latest event scheduled

The First Church of the Nazarene in Gallipolis Ohio in conjunction with True Life Student Ministries would like to invite you and your youth group to an exciting night of Praise and Worship through music and performance art. We are very fortunate to have one of the top local Christian Bands performing in our Church for their CD release concert. Romans Highway is a band that is well known in the local and surrounding area for their high energy style of praise and worship. They have just finished cutting their first CD and it is suppose to be done and available in time for this concert.

We are also proud to be able to showcase an artist that grow up here in Gallia County and graduated from Gallia Academy High School and Marshall University. Jason Queen will be with us to share his love of God and love of painting in a dramatic presentation that is sure to inspire and stir our hearts for a closer relationship with God.

This tremendous evening will occur on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1110 First Ave. Gallipolis, Ohio 45631. Doors will open at 5:15 and the concert will begin at 6pm and will last till about 8pm.

In my personal work I have recently been exploring a series in the concept of "Myth and Legend" Monkey King and Valkyrie have been completed. I will be working on a piece titled "Grey Man" which is a legend concerning the OBX very soon. Currently I am working on a portfolio piece from the World of Warcraft titled "Loque'Nahak" It should be completed with a few weeks. C U when I C U!
